SAGA Travel Insurance

I currently have an annual policy with Staysure which is due to expire next month. After reading horror stories about them here and elsewhere I'm looking at going with another company. I'm in my late 50s and have several pre-existing medical conditions and have got a quote from SAGA which I'm happy with. Has anyone got a policy with them and if do, what do you think of them? I've got a week in Madeira in June and 11 nights in Orlando in September. Thanks.

Can't help with Saga but I have used Staysure on a number of occasions and had to make claims. I did not have a single problem with them at all and in fact would recommend them.

Thank you for your response. Hsve your claims been in the last year or so or pre covid times. The horror stories I've read have been in recent weeks, hence my concern.

We’re with Staysure and have pre existing conditions, have used them for years with no issues. Not had to claim in covid times though. My parents (in their early 70’s) are with Saga, for travel & car insurance and never had any issues with them.

Thank you for your reply. I am happy with the SAGA quote so I am tempted to switch to them. The cost is about £7 less than my current Staysure policy.

All pre-covid.
