ESTA Point of contact?
Just filling this in and its asking for a point of contact inc address then the section below is asking for address of where we are staying.
What does the point of contact mean?

If you fill in the name of your hotel, the next question then asks if this is the same. I stumbled on this doing ours the other day.

It's for if you're visiting family/friends in the US, they would be your point of contact. For staying in a hotel/villa, it's the hotel address for both sections. However if you click the info button, it says you can use unknown for both of these.

Unknown for name and then address of hotel for rest. Next question then asks if this is the same as your hotel (where you are staying) 😀

I always put UNKNOWN. Also when it asks for phone numbers you can put 000000.
Hover over the relevant boxes and a box will appear to confirm what I have said. Just as TSpill says Hope this helps |

All these questions including the emergency contact one are data harvesting exercises to enrich their intel database. I’ve no problem with it but that’s what they are doing. I’ve never heard of a contact ever been actually contacted- and who would do it?

I agree, so I have put unknown (which is allowed) but then it’s fine up with another tick box saying address invalid and check the box to certify that the address is correct?
