Mobile How many nights in LA?

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but there are quite a few things we'd like to do in LA

Tour of the stars houses
Universal
Warner Bros studio tour
Griffiths Observatory
Hollywood walk of fame
Hollywood Sign
Maybe Venice Beach
Maybe Monica Pier

How many nights would you allow for these? We land at about 1.30pm into LA

Thanks!

Hi, I'd say 3 or 4 with your list. Warner Brothers is a half day, Griffiths Park and Observatory is probably the same. It depends on how much you want to see as the Park is huge.
Venice beach is overated, lots of weird people, and urine smells were awful last time, felt unsafe being there.
Santa Monica Pier is ok, Route 66, Bubba Gumps etc. The pier rides were expensive though.
Haven't done a tour but Universal is a full day. Hollywood walk of Fame is ok, bit touristy, depends how much yoy want to see.

LA is quite spread out, got to allow for traffic. We used Lyft a couple of times for one of the Getty Museums, pretty easy.

We have booked 3 nights. Our first night we will arrive after a trip to knots berry farm and check in then the next day we have a day tour of LA covering all of the sights in one day. The next day we have universal then we go to warner bros studios on the morning we check out.

Who have you booked the day tour with? I like the idea of getting it all done! Thanks 😄

Complete opposite view of Venice Beach. Very under rated by most and we easily spend half a day there relaxing and seeing what is going on.

Never had any experience of a smell of urine, weed yes.

Place has police patrols driving up and down every 10 minutes or so, never ever felt.unsafe.

It is definitely not for all though. It's got a quite youthful vibe to it and if that's not your thing then the likes of Santa Monica, Malibu, Huntingdon, Redondo or Long beach woul be more suitable.

Universal is a day, Warner Bros and Griffith Park half days. Hollywood.is a few.hours.

Personally I wouldn't do a stars tour, you don't see much and some is made.up anyway. Many of the true.places are.off limits to these tour companies now. If you you do go then they tend to be anything from a couple.of hours to half a day.

It’s with a day in LA! We thought the same as DS wanted to see so much and I didn’t fancy trying to get around all of those places myself in one day.

We did 5 nights last week and didn’t have enough time we felt!
We did;
Day 1: Warner Studios Tour/Hollywood Sign hike
Day 2: Beverly Hills/ The Grove and Original Farmers Market
Day 3: Hollywood walk of fame (great photos early on when it’s not busy) then day at Universal
Day 4: Bike ride from Santa Monica to Redondo Pier
Day 5: Venice beach, Venice Canals and Abbots Kinney

We loved the studio tours and hiking to the Hollywood sign above all else. There’s so much more to do though, we need to go back to do it justice.
