Is this a good price/deal for May half term at Newport Bay?

As we're no longer WDW bound in August we're now considering DLP in May half term 2021.
I had a quick look at hotel/ticket packages last night and was quite shocked at the prices. Originally thought we'd push the boat out and stay at the Disneyland Hotel but it was over 3.5k for 4 nights!
Discovered the Newport Bay Hotel which looks lovely. It's showing as £2090 including 10% off hotel & tickets, free half board meal plan €100 gift card. Does this seems a good price , or should we hold out for a better deal?
We need to add on transport costs too, hoping for Eurostar.
I haven't been to DLP in 20 years so have no idea what is a good price.
Any help and advice would be very grateful received 🙂

Hi!

The discount percentage can go up to around 25%, but there's no guarantee that this amount will reappear. I'm not sure of your party size, so it's hard to judge if that's a reasonable amount. Also (often nearer the time, though) there's offers that may suit you more on the other versions of the DLP direct website, such as the French or German site.
Once, a couple of years ago, I booked the Eurostar on day of release (£130 return total, for myself and my niece), then held my nerve for a deal. I got a discount and free under 12s through the French site. It was £490 for 3 nights and 4 days in October in Santa Fe. I think they add a single person fee on too, cos I was the only adult in the room. X

Try arriving on a weekday, cheaper and quieter.

You could save a lot by staying at the Cheyenne or Santa Fe. Only 10 min further to walk. Not luxurious but the theming in Cheyenne is superb, and frankly you don’t spend much time there.

May half term is normally counted as high season for uk, so the price sounds about right. The only problem with the Cheyenne and Santa Fe at the moment is that they only include breakfast and not half board. Have you tried looking at a 3 night package and staying off site for the first night? Then you can check in early in the morning and hit the parks, try a search with different start dates and see how the prices change.

We paid just over £1400 for 3 of us at NBC for 4 nights next year including full board but that’s at Easter not May half term.
