Just had the E Mail cancelling our 17th October LHR to MCO flight.

That makes 8 Florida holidays chopped. Unless Sleepy Joe wakes up and actually does something meaningful soon I doubt Spring 2022 will take place sadly.

It just infuriates me that we can travel to a covid hotspot and fly into America from there. The US Government need to give their heads a shake!

The cancellation email makes it clear you can rebook upto April 2023, does not mention any cost to do so OR take a voucher OR a refund

They want you to take a voucher so they can charge you the new cost of the flight. If you hold tight and do nothing you should be able to book upto april 2023 when the flights come out.

That's how I read the email.

The problem is that America for at least the last 100 years when it is under threat adopts an isolationist policy and hunkers down. Very evident in WW1, WW2 and post 9/11.

Understandable but they aren't the Nation that a lot of people believe they are.

Gavvy. That's how I read it as well. I doubt we will do that as firstly I like money in my account not theirs and secondly we were taking our Granddaughter before she goes to High School in 2022. Thus we cannot take her next Half Term as I won't take her out of school . Juniors yes, High School no.

We’ve just received the cancellation email for our trip on 16th Oct from MAN to MCO. We are going to take a refund as we now have other holidays booked for next year.

Can anyone tell me if we need to complete the cancellation form for each ticket reference as it will only allow us to add one to the form.

Just the lead passenger. Sad to say I'm an expert on those forms
By cancelling the lead passenger the rest automatically get cancelled as well. I think it says that when you complete the form.

I am assuming the 20th October if they are following the usual pattern.
Sorry to all those cancelled today. We are probably 2 weeks away from ours being cancelled. Mr Tom Morrow - we've lost 8 trips as well

Morning everyone - as explained previously I am a little late in my timings but Dogwalker you are correct

VS have cancelledLHR/MAN-MCO up to and including 20th October. Just off to update Post #1 now.

Any news on Man - Atl? not had any messages from Virgin and can still see it is bookable on thier site. Noticed on the 1st post of this thread it has changed to the 8th Ocotber, but I am due to go on 30 Sept?

Little dissapointing with only being 2 weeks away.
