Where do I stay ?

Won’t be getting to Florida any time soon so hoping to go to Paris probably September time, will be myself, mum and 20 year old daughter - thinking of staying off site to save some money but am I kidding myself ? Do I end up paying more by doing this and if not, where do I stay ?

Hi nickimiz,

Have a look at the Ibis Hotel, Marne la Vallée Val d'Europe. It's 50 metres from the railway station and one stop away from DLP.

The Ibis Hotel is a relatively basic but clean hotel. You can drive there and it has a decent underground car park.

Reagards,

The only way to be sure if you're saving money is to price up the different options and see what comes up and whether the prices difference might be worth it. One main difference if you stay offsite is the lack of extra magic time in the morning so that's something to bear in mind.

My personal favourite hotel in Val d'Europe is the L'Elysee - it's a lovely hotel (so more expensive than the Ibis) plus it's just across the road from the RER and the shopping mall and big supermarket.

Also most of the prices on site include park passes for every day I.e check in and out day and aren't extra. Ours worked out cheaper staying on site but some off site include breakfast.

The Ibis is literally opposite the RER station which is 1 stop from DLP so a five minute journey.

There are also several places with a self catering facility such as Residhome, Adagio, Hipark - and a huge supermarket in the shopping centre.

Worth looking at annual passes - if you go for more than about 4 days in 12 months you might break even.
