Yes the drop is between 10-20 ft. I was fine with it and I have a phobia of drops (Tower of Terror is my worst nightmare.)

It is a must do, I was lucky enough to ride 4 times over Christmas, it is the perfect balance for the nervous lol, I rode Rock n Roller and Tower of Terror once and once only years ago, never again, Rise was so much fun by comparison!

I cried like a baby. Hadn't seen anything about it before we went and it blew me away. However we are both massive Star Wars fans so not your demographic. I think the thing that makes it special for fans is how you feel immersed in the world you love, and the little (and not so little) "nods" to the films. That said the ride itself is impressive and if nothing else you see it as a " space" ride you will enjoy it.

So did I. When it ended I couldn’t keep It in, I just burst into tears. I had deliberately not looked it up on YouTube as I didn’t want to spoil the surprise. My dh isn’t a Star Wars fan and while he did appreciate it, he didn’t get any of the references.

Can anyone confirm if it’s now a normal standby queue ride at Hollywood studios
