End of free Fastpasses at DLP?

Very said to see this breaking news this morning... no doubt the direction all Disney parks are likely to go in

I can’t believe this. Terrible. When we’ve already paid so much for tickets you then have to pay at least €8 pp per ride just for the queue to go quicker 😢

I'm trying to stay positive and think that perhaps if fewer people are taking up the paid for passes it will keep the stand-by queues moving quicker... so sad that the parks are changing so much

It really is such a shame. Completely understand that changes have to be made with Covid causing so much financial difficulties, but they have already increased prices. It gets to the point where it just doesn’t seem as magic anymore

Exactly this, it's getting harder and harder to justify the cost!

I’m so disappointed by this. If they wanted to monetise fast pass they could have done so as some form of upgrade, or additional ones, without completely getting rid of the free ones. The longer I spend queuing in the standby line, the less time I spend buying food or shopping. 🤷🏻 I’ve never once bought the queue jump things at Alton Towers, Legoland etc and I don’t intend to buy one at Disney either.

Omg... that's absolutely disgusting. I'm literally appalled at that. Has really taken the shine off the excitement of booking our trip for next year.
