Shrek 4D to close / Mummy refurb

Its a shame shrek is closing I always really enjoyed it. But genuinely gutted about the mummy its our fav ride in universal.

Didn't mind Shrek, it was a nice break from the heat. Kids loved it (even the teens )
Love Mummy and really hope it is open in August next year, not a big fan of coasters and it is one of the few I didn't mind riding.

Aww, can’t believe Fast & Furious is getting disparaged! Sure it’s cheesy but that’s what the FF series is. It’s better than Fallon.

Anyway, forget about Shrek, when is the fabled new Potter VR attraction replacing Fear Factory?

Dd will be sooo disappointed that this will be down when we go. For me - I’m secretly happy to not have to go in it. I go on it as my dd loves it, but I always feel a bit icky after. 😬

Everest and The Mummy being down has scuppered any chance of my wife talking me into Orlando in January.

We used to ride the mummy as many times as we could based on time we had on the locker. Record around five or six?

Off to LA instead I think this year.

There is a date early January, I think the 5th. We were due to go on the 7th and it was shut by then.

Just read that Shrek has closed down. Disappointed as we go shortly and already won't have Everest, The Mummy, Splash Mountain and I think Jurassic Park. I did like Jaws, Earthquake, Terminator and Twister at Universal. Hope they don't close ET as it is a lovely easy ride Looking forward to trying the Bourne Attraction.
