Rope drop show MK?

Hiya, when we went in 2013 before rope drop there was a welcome show with characters on the train.

We've booked to go Nov 2022 and wondering if this still happens? If not is there anything special at rope drop?

It's at the castle now rather than the railroad, but yes, there's a small show a few minutes before rope drop. Not really worth sacrificing a good spot in the rope drop queue for, but cute enough if you're not in a rush.

Note if staying offsite, it's at park opening rather than early entry. So you'd have to come back into the hub if you wanted to see it.

Another cost cutting measure! The new show is nowhere near as "magical" & TBH most people don't really pay that much attention to it, we're normally in the Starbucks queue at that time!

I was just thinking about this earlier! 2013 was the last time I was there too and loved the welcome show. Sad to see it isn't the same anymore.
