Hi Folks. Is it worth booking the dining at Disney's Contemporary Resort in the evening and watching the Fireworks on the balcony? If so what’s the best time to book please?

I wouldn't book it just to watch the fireworks as there's plenty of places you can watch them for free, so think of them more as a bonus if the restaurant appeals.

Any time before the fireworks start is fine, as you can show your receipt to go back onto the balcony at fireworks time.

The California Grill is worth every penny in my opinion, but reservations go quickly and you have to be on it at 60 days out. If you can time your meal with the fireworks it's very memorable.

You might just have to take what you can get. If I were booking and could take my pick of the evening, I would go for something like 90 minutes before fireworks. I don’t really think it matters that much though.

At the moment, Enchantment is at 8pm but can vary depending on when you travel.

We booked for 7.30 last month. Had our starters before the fireworks then the rest afterwards. Was perfect timing for us and a lovely last night meal.
