2 x cars one package way to save money?

Looking for some insight from others who’ve had more than one car for a Florida holiday.
We’re currently booked on a villa VH holiday for sept 21. We originally had it booked for this sept with two mustangs but due to the cost increases being presented for the rebooking chose to down grade the cars to absorb a little.

I’m wondering if it would be cheaper to cancel one or both hire cars through VH and go through alamo direct? Appreciate they may not be the cheapest but have a good history with them so happy to stay with them.

Not looking for alamo horror stories just advice/suggestions.

How much money would cancelling 1 or both cars through VH give you back?

This far out the prices tend to be quite high... So i'd advise booking through a company who offer free amendments / cancellations and then monitor the price. When the price drops, amend the booking to the cheaper price.
