The only problem is she was actually British. She is married to an American military man and was quite young. She had lived in a community where it is quite normal to own a fully legal gun. She was actually talking about having the gun in the car for their long drive on isolated roads. The actual question was about having it on property not carrying it into the theme parks. Apparently it is quite common to leave them in locked glove boxes.

She definitely asked on the wrong forum!

And no despite being an American and living in Florida now after 28 years in the UK, I don't own a gun.

I thought I’d come back to update the thread seeing as it was resurrected!

I can confirm that we did not take our own bread. We hadn’t done the dining plan before so we weren’t sure if we’d have enough food but as we were told at the time by experienced Dibbers we had more than enough so didn’t need to.

No idea how I missed this thread! When staying onsite with free dining we have always taken bread/muffins to the food court to toast them. Usually we eat them in the room as it’s good to have something light while getting ready for the parks but saw plenty of people doing the same and eating it in the food court. Can’t see the issue here to be honest 😂
