Thanks for a fab report. Many places we’ve not eaten yet, and I always enjoy hearing feedback of either kind. Your Tapas you chose at Morimoto is right up our street, and your PH review has made us rethink. We weren’t impressed at all with the food or service when we ate there last, or at the other PH we tried before.

Our experience with Hollywood Brown Derby was king of like yours in the sense that the food was food, but the service was hit and miss. Our server would disappear for ages. We had the Fantasmic package and needed our tickets and the time was getting tight so we told her this and asked her if she could bring our desserts and tickets right when we finished our mains. She said yes, disappeared with our plates and never came back. 15 minutes later I finally saw her again, and asked again for our desserts and passes, and maybe another 10 minutes the desserts came. She finally brought the passes out after we’d been finished for 5 min, and then Took our credits.

It’s a lot of money for what it is. We’ve decided we’ll try the outdoor lounge if we want to do it again.

On a side note, I know it’s been a couple of months, but I’ve just read this and I’m nosey. Did you get your compensation for the luggage in the end? And I’m assuming your feet healed up. Did you get a new pair of shoes that helped or just persevere?

I was just reading my own food report again, as you do and spotted your unanswered post from over six months ago. I don’t like to not answer people if I can help it so...

... glad to report that yes we got a room credit to cover the cost of the damaged suitcase. And all my blister problems where solved when Nev turned up with a pair of these shoes, which will be my park shoes for ever more.
