Swapping to DLP

Just wondering if this would be worth doing or not. I am just so indecisive over all this it's unreal!

Considering cancelling our 7 day reservation at CCV in Oct as i'm about 70% sure it won't be happening, but seeing if I can convert the pts into reservation pts at Newport Bay DLP for August.

The same pts would get 2 nights inatead of 7.

I would then have to purchase tickets separately and use the park reservation system, hoping there is availability.

I think there's still a 2 week quarantine in France?

This would also leave us with uncertainty about the Orlando flights. Will VS let us rebook etc. If the flight ended up going and travel ban dropped by then, we'd have to rebook a hotel somewhere.

Other option would be to wait it out a little bit longer and hope that DVC will still return the pts into the use year they were borrowed from if we need to cancel.

Not sure what to do at all 🤔

Can you cancel the reservation, rent your points out and pay cash for DLP? Wouldn�t that make you quids in?

I'm a bit hesitant at the moment to rent them out with everything going on. But it's something I guess I could do if I'm not able to return them to the use year they came from.

I think my worry is that if i leave it too long DVC could change their policy. Either way, DLP or cancelling, i'm left with the flights.

Is your flight provider letting you amend to a later date or open ticket?

I�d be minded to rent them out personally but YMMV. Good luck

Virgin only allowing amendments up to the 30th September at the moment.

I guess I could use David's again 🤔
