Hotel recommendations

Flying into Orlando & looking for suggestions please for a mid price hotel with good pool area to stay for 1/2 nights before travelling onwards to Englewood area. Close to I4. Maybe international drive area or lake buena vista?

I did this last year and had a wonderful night at the Rosen Plaza - polite and informative staff, great bed and close enough to walk to a couple of International Drive eateries. There are on-site restaurants but we wanted to have a leg stretch following the flight from UK.

Rosen Plaza for us Ive just booked a last minute trip and have booked 2 nights here before we move on probably to Alabama

Yet another vote for Rosen Plaza. Nice bar and coffee shop, pool area and public lounge for people watching.

I'm looking at similar, for 1 night after we drive in from Tampa. The Courtyard Marriott LBV has some up pretty cheap for us. We stayed across the footpath at the Springhill suites and used the Courtyard's pool- was nice, clean and had a decent breakfast. Our other cheap option just down the road on Vineland Ave is the Clarion Inn LBV. I'd happily stay in either.
