MDE and park tickets

We have booked a week to WDW for August this year through virgin holidays. We are staying at coronado springs

We used MDE last year for our fly drive and linked tickets we bought through ATD

This year we are trying to enter out park tickets into MDE but it doesn't like the 12 digit booking reference as supplied by Disney to VH

In my profile for MDE it shows I have card and a magic band active - I am wondering if the card I have linked is last years card and if so do I need to delete that first? If it is last years card I am puzzled as to why it shows active.

I suspect this will involve a call to Disney but we need to get this sorted before the FP window opens Monday week.

Have you linked your stay at CSR to MDE? If so, and you booked the hotel and tickets as a package with VH, then you shouldn't need to link tickets separately - they should link along with your accommodation vising the one reference.

MDE shows our booking for coronado springs this year. I'm hoping every is ok because I don't want to miss the FP window !

Can you see tickets at all? Check the website version rather than the app.

Normally, if you book an accommodation and ticket package, then just your resort reservation should link them both. However, if you booked accommodation and then added tickets later, there's a chance that they could be separate bookings and VH won't be triggered to release the ticket linking numbers until nearer the 30 day mark and you'll need to chase them. How did you book? Is it a free dining booking?

Thanks for that - I will have a look on the proper web site and will come back later.

We booked everything through VH as far as I know (everything being flights , CSR and tickets. I hope this is sorted before 60 days rather than having to wait until 30

We have had a similar issue with our tickets not showing on MDE. We booked with WDTC and our hotel reservation was showing but not the tickets. Each time I attempted to link the tickets it gave the message that the tickets were assigned to Tracy Ellis, which is me!
I called Disney 3 times and each time was told they couldn't see what the issue was as they could see everything linked their end, it was most frustrating. Finally they made a new MDE account for me whilst I was on the phone to them, I created a new account with the same email address and they relinked the booking their end, hey presto everything was showing just 2 days before the 60 day window. It took 3 weeks of calling to sort it out.
Long story short, when you call maybe explain you have been told of someone with the same issue and they were advised to create a new MDE account to link to the booking. This may save you some time and hopefully you won't go round in circles like I did.
