DVC into RCI

now with my aug trip looking like a no-go and DVC saying the points will expire may 31 2021, i need to look at banking them at RCI

Now i am familiar with Interval international as a timeshare banking setup, i bank my marriott week and book another marriott but in a 2 bed unit ( just pay £130 upgrade fee )

how does banking points with rci work though ? ? ?

Sorry I am no help to you Matt but I am also interest in this, as I will probably be cancelling my August bookings and have April 2019 points that they told me will expire 31st March 2021.

I assume as long as I cancel my trip 31 days out I can transfer some points into RCI but haven’t a clue after that lol

Ive been following your post which was what got me to e.mail DVC in the 1st place

mine isnt a massive amount of points, but i really dont want to lose them

I am sure when I asked member services they said to go online (dvc site) put in your dates and see what is available

we also have timeshare here in the UK and I thought we might have been able to use it for that but when I spoke to the resort here she said members have to list it on rci for it to become available

When I thought I was going to lose my Aug 2019 use year points I looked into RCI quite a bit. There is a link into the DVC associated RCI site that you can search for possible places.

In the end the DVC rules changed and I was able to bank outside of my banking window.
