I'm sure it'll be fine but we were there in Spring Break so hotel was full and I bet they were putting guests in rooms they knew were sub standard and due for a refurb.

All I wanted was for them to come in and wash the carpets when we were out for the day but they couldn't do that. My wife refused to stay there as we have a baby that had just started crawling and no way would she let him crawl on that carpet. It was only that we were holding up a big check in line and everyone was hearing us moan that they gave us the Key West room after about 30 mins. We wasted 6 hours of our holiday unpacking, packing, moving etc.

I don't think all rooms will be refurbished by then as there are quite a few blocks that need work. It's easy to see which ones have been done by the colour of the windows, I think brown was old rooms but I can't remember.

If you can get Key West area then you'll have an excellent stay as it's a nicer part, a bit quiter and not as hemmed in. Pool was fine in this part with a kids play area, pool table etc. We didn't use the other two pools as they were always busier and music playing so not for us. We had a toddler so walking round the resort getting him to sleep in the buggy was nice.

The location was good being near the mall and a supermarket opposite more or less. We are planning on staying at Orange lake next time which is a bit further out but I have hotel points to use.

We stayed here in August and loved the resort so much we are going back next year.

We were given a Key West room after arguing with the deputy manager for ages and it was night and day better.

I stayed there a few years back. It was ok, but would never go back.

There was a dogs show nearby and there was barking and dogxxxx everywhere. They were letting dogs stay in all the blocks.

If we were told before fine, but to get there and not know was wrong.
