Seat confusion (VA)

Hi guys, we booked our flights via Tc in feb but are flying with delta/virgin, when we booked our flights they booked our seat numbers (for no extra charge) we are all together in row 55... iv just seen virgin charge for seating before the 24 hour check in so will this change and us not actually be sitting together even though we have our seat numbers? I was going to pay to all sit together but the agent just did it and we didn't have to pay. x

Have you checked the seating information on your Virgin booking using your flight reference?

I've just booked with Virgin (last week) and they told me they no longer charge extra for seating reservations unless you're sitting on the upper deck on the 747. HTH

I'm sure there was a change (possibly earlier this year? might actually have been 2018) where if you booked after a certain date then seat selection was included in the fare, anything before that was at a cost.

If you've got seats allocated to your booking already, i'd assume you've got them included

Isn�t it econ classic & comfort you can book your seats when you book your flight? (Just basic where you can�t?) I might be wrong?

You can book your seats for free if your travelling economy classic or above. The only ones you have to wait is the hand luggage only option.

You should be able to log into your virgin Atlantic account with your eticket number and check or change as you wish.
