Virgin PE row 20
After a bit of experience from Dibbers please. We bit the bullet and paid extra for PE both ways for next year and I’ve managed to secure row 20 A&C both ways. We enjoyed the bubble this year so we’re keen to be in it next year. 19 A&C were booked for our outbound or I would have gone for them but the extra leg room of the bulkhead seats seemed to good an opportunity to pass up.
Are there any negatives to this row? I was surprised to find it available both ways as the outbound has been available for a couple of weeks. Now I’m worried there’s something I don’t know about! |

They were great on the way out. Not so great coming back as we couldn’t get any sleep as when anyone went to the bathroom, the light shone right onto us which got to be very annoying

I've never booked these when available as may be moved if bassinet required or for special needs passengers?

These are both things that are worrying me. Although all other bulkhead seats are blocked and these are the only PE ones available so I assume the rest are blocked until check in?
I think the toilets will be fine on the way out but you may be right about the return. |

We prefer the back rows as we can recline guilt free and in my opinion, it feels like there’s as much legroom
As far as I know, the bassinet is only on the right hand side.

The back row was gone but I hate reclining in my face which is why we’ve gone for these.

20A and 20C don't have a bassinet in front of them but they are diagonally opposite the toilet door. I wore the eye mask on the return flight when we I sat in those seats and didn't have a problem. They are my favourite pre-bookable seats for the flight home - unfortunately not available to me this time though

I forgot about the eye mask. That might help. If there’s no bassinet that also explains why they’re available as they wouldn’t be suitable for a family with a baby or a disabled passenger being upstairs anyway.
Thanks for the replies. I might just stick with them. |

Definitely no bassinet on the left hand side. We’ve booked them for our return leg in February as liked the idea of extra leg room and no-one in front reclining! Hoping the toilet light won’t bother me much!

Eh?
I'm disabled (above knee amputee, getting around either on 1 leg and crutches, or prosthetic and walking sticks) yet we book the bubble whenever we can including 20A&C on our outbound trip next May - being disabled doesn't automatically mean 100% wheelchair bound. /Chris |
