Was this years ahead of it’s time?
 Was it aimed at children or adults? Maybe I didn’t fully appreciate it at the time... Anyone else used to enjoy the Magic Roundabout just before the news? |

I loved it and would happily watch it now ☺️. Dougal was my favourite. I also loved Ludwig and Ivor the Engine which I think were also in the pre news slot.

I think it was pretty much of the time. There were quite a few strange psychedelic children's programs on in the 60' and 70's 😁

Magic Roundabout was narrated by Emma Thompsons dad I think... they were probably all at it! |

I loved the magic roundabout, I even had the set.
Ivor the engine was fab too

 They took episodes of a French animation and then Eric Thompson narrated random stuff over the top based on what he saw, not bothering to translate the French script. Hence why it seems so weird. Apparently (according to Google) there were over 500 episodes!
