Whilst it may be good they need to sort out the way they are letting people on... we were in the front gates at 7:45 this morning and I immediately joined a boarding group... number 76 (at that time they were boarding groups 8-26)

It’s now 12:20 and they are only boarding group 50... just been told I’m not likely to be able to join “the queue” until late afternoon at the earliest!

Update... 3:20pm and still only letting group 58 join the queue!

Edited at 09:19 PM.

Two things are at play here..

The groups are bigger sizes or..

It’s broken down for a time again.

It’s 5pm here and the are still at 66.

Sort out the way ? That just means at 07:45 there were more people ahead of you. You want earlier, get there earlier.

Why didn’t you leave the park for a while?

We did leave the park, it’s now over 10 hours since we joined a virtual queue and it’s just very poor that you have absolutely no idea when you’re likely to get on the ride! I’d much rather them operate a normal queue system and just tell you it’s a 120/180 minute wait than leave you waiting all day... it’s just not practical as a family to do this!

It’s gone down for at least an hour twice today but that’s still no excuse for not having a better system in place to let you know when you’ll likely be able to ride!

As for getting there earlier... we were there before the supposed park opening and the park isn’t actually that busy although there were a number of people leaving whilst we were entering... I suspect hotel guests getting a reservation then going elsewhere... not a fair system at all!

We got a boarding pass at 8.20, probably one of the last ones;group 115, we had a message from Disney at 4.30 confirming we wouldn’t be boarding today. We were given a fast pass good for all day tomorrow and a complementary park ticket good for one day until 2030. We are at universal for the day tomorrow (last day on our tickets) but if we’re not too shattered might try to ride tomorrow evening.

All passes were gone by 07:45 today. We were there at 7am. Group 50. On Saturday at the same time group 61.

That’s really poor, but a day pass and a fast pass isn’t a bad substitute.
