Dragging the Dibb from beyond the right side “edge”

I am using an iPad. Yesterday I was playing a game and noticed that if I went passed the right side of the “frame” I could drag the Dibb on to my game. This has never happened to me before and I wonder if it is part of the latest update, 13.2.3. Please, please can anyone tell me how to stop it? I deleted the app I was using and gave it a not so good review. But now I regret my actions and feel a bit silly. Please help.

This has been a feature on iPads for a few updates now. You can have two windows side by side. Or one over the
Other.

You can turn it off in settings.

To turn Multitasking features on or off, go to Settings > Home Screen & Dock > Multitasking, then you can do the following:
Allow Multiple Apps: Turn off if you don't want to use Slide Over or Split View.
Picture in Picture: Turn off if you don't want to use Picture in Picture.
Gestures: Turn off if you don't want to use Multitasking gestures to see the app switcher, return to the Home screen, and more.
