Thank you for all your ideas - I know the children would like the idea of mini golf - which stop would we get off at for that?

So is this possible:

OKW - DS - Boat
DS -Boardwalk - Bus
Boardwalk to DHS - Boat
DHS - Epcot Boat
Epcot - OKW - bus

I know it sounds a long way around but just fancy a relaxing day hopping on and off - with maybe a bit of sight seeing and a game of mini golf?

it is possible

for a round of minigolf you'd need to visit fantasia gardens. you can get there on foot from BW or DHS (go around the lake, the minigolf is behind Swam and Dolphin)

But, this is very far from my idea of a relaxiong day.
sure you'd be sitting on boats and enjoying the sights, but you'd also face a 20 minutes wait time for each of your on and off hopping

so you're mainly looking at standing for up to 2 hours in lines waiting for buses and boats, and sitting through up to 90 minutes onboard the boats and buses.

for that kind of time, I'd rather spend it in lines inside the parks.

if you just want to see things and relax go directly to EPCOT, cross future world, board a boat inside epcot to cross the world showcase lake.
you can then exit through international gateway and have a nosey around BW and Beach Club, you could also push to Fantasia Gardens, then come back inside EPCOT

In my opinion that would save a lot of time
you still have time to walk to DS or take the boat there for a meal or shopping, for your relaxing day

but, then again, your plan above can be done, it's just that this in not my definition of relaxing. As far as I'm concerned, I file it under letter N for Nightmare...

my opinion.

The boat rides are nice though

If you look at Google maps it will appear that You can in theory walk from OKW to the back of Epcot, and runners used to do this for race events (when there was no traffic). It's prohibited to do this because it's very very dangerous - no walkways, crossing roads with traffic approaching from four directions etc. Not saying you were thinking of doing that, but nobody should consider it.
A belated thank you. I was just wondering about this because OKW looks to be only 1/2 a mile from Epcot. Unsafe and long indirect route is a solid pass from me.
