Place picked up from. Mco Alamo. Saturday 16th Sept.
Category:- Full size.
Make :- toyota camry. 23 model 23k on clock.
Hideous thing. Absolutely no go. Terrible visibility from inside. Especially in rain. Water ran off front straight onto side windows. Making mirrors useless. Stupidly high tyre pressure when picked up. Was showing 50+ psi after a few miles on freeway. Poor choice at mco A on sat afternoon. Only this. A dodge 4x4 with 50k+ or some people carriers in full size.

Picked up From-MCO

Car class booked-Full Size SUV
Car Taken-Jeep Wagoneer L
Booked with-Alamo Brits £670 14 days

We were originally given the choice of a Ford Expedition Or Nissan Armada, instantly chose the Ford, but due to it having two captains chairs on the second row we refused this as having a baby and wanting a three person bench seat on the second row. With a bit of persuasion I was given the keeps to the Wagoneer which was classed as a Premium Full Size SUV. Beautiful car loads of kit and space but had a fault with the sat nav system kept rebooting and the engine management light came on the second to last day which to think was a issue with the gear box.

That’s strange, when I had a Wagoneer in June it was classed as a full size SUV.
Also when I’ve had an Explorer from Alamo that was a standard SUV

Explorer is a weird one as it’s often in the standard SUV section but is technically a class above (8 seater standard suv or something like that).

Had a long debate about that with Alamo employee who was unwilling to give me an explorer as my standard suv - walked back from booth and magically one had been out in the standard suv row so I grabbed it 😂

Picked up at MLB (Alamo, but picked up from the National part of the shared desk space & National staff member).
Cat hired - standard SUV. (PGAR on key fob (Premium Crossover).
Make received - Jeep Grand Cherokee LWB Laredo.
Booked through Alamo Dutch Partner link.
Paid $541 for 14 days. Pay on return.

Only 900 on the clock when picked up and did 505 miles in total. $80 total fuel spend. Averaged 20.2 mpg.

Was initially offered a Dodge Durango with 15K that I politely asked if she had anything newer and less dated in design and gave me the option of the Grand Cherokee or a Toyota Highlander with 20K on the clock……

Base (Laredo) model. Full air con, wireless Apple airplay for sat nav (none built in) blind spot detection that was a godsend on the I4 and cloth seats which did not roast the legs off you after a day in the parks. Had a 2-2-2 seating plan and not much room in the boot when rear seats up and little visibility out the back when these seats up or in use. Had reverse camera for assistance there.

Would get this model again and recommend it.

Handed back and guy gave it a cursory look over and receipt with total emailed through straightaway with no hidden fees.

Waiting on the tolls to be worked out and emailed in due course.
