If you can switch the plans around, the PCH is best driven from North to South as you are closer to the view.

All hotels are pretty much the same to me when looking within my budget... Except for the Madonna Inn!

People can only love it or hate it. It takes kitsch to a whole new level and has the appearance of having been designed by Barbara Cartland...whilst on a really heavy acid trip.

If you don't like pink, then possibly this is a place to avoid.

Thank you but we have deliberately chosen South to North for two reasons. 1st being want to finish in SF and cycle over the bridge in my big birthday. 2nd being rather not be that close to the edge 😂

we found it much cheaper to fly in and out of LA, changed our whole trip as was much cheaper, been another twice to vegas and hundreds cheaper to fly to LA

We did South to North 6 years ago and it was fine, next year planning on doing North to South.

Just throwing it out there we did a plane trip from Vegas to the South Rim had a great guide pick us up and take us to the South Rim we had about 5 hours there I think. Have also been to the West Rim from Vegas and went on the Skywalk, a good day but not the same stunning views you get at the South Rim.
