Hi like most conventions more likely for them to have bar time than park time.

Touring Plans' crowd calendar is 25th - 2, 26th - 5, 27th - 2, 28th - 2, 29th - 5 and 30th - 4. So looks like they are estimating larger crowds for before the start of the convention and then again at the weekend.

We were due in Anaheim this time but rearranged our schedule so we leave before it starts.

But, I wouldn't worry, apparently DL crowds were light even when D23 was on this year and if the convention is typical then most attendees will be in sessions or queuing for sessions most of the day anyway.

D23 happened when the annual passes were still blacklisted this year I believe. That makes a huge difference as the park is mainly a locals park.

You are there when you are there, enjoy the parks and do as much as you can. If you have multiple days you will get to do all you wanted to regardless of the crowds.

Agree with others that if the convention is not in the park, then the days won't really be affected whilst it is on, evenings may get busier, and the days before and after are more likely to be the ones being busier.
