Forget The Election! Buy Your Dollars

Just spotted that John Lewis are selling dollars at $1.30 to the £.

If I was going in the next 3 Months I would buy now as the markets are anticipating a certain victory.

Should that not occur we could see a much different figure.

Isn't is sad that $1.30 seems good

I was going to post something about having a feeling that people should buy dollars today if they are thinking of getting dollars in the near future.

This feeling is based on no evidence or analysis whatsoever; it just a vague hunch I have.

And, yes, it comes to something when $1.30 to the £ is considered good. It's almost back to the same level it was for the 3 months after the referendum.

I don't take much cash. Just a bit for offsite meal tips and a few other bits n bobs

I may be wrong in doing it but I just got £500 worth to collect on Sunday at Waitrose.

I also don't need much - mostly for tips and buying things from carts and the like. I still have some dollars from the last time we visited. Thankfully, they don't expire. I hope they don't, anyway.
