Catalonia bavaro Dom republc
Hi all.
Going back to Dominican Republic this year in November. Not told the DW yet , it's a belated silver wedding gift... I'm looking at Punta Cana this time at the Catalonia bavaro and was wondering if anyone has been there. Thanks in advance.. |

We were stayed there last year for 2 weeks having previously stayed at Catalonia Rivieria Maya in Mexico.
It is big resort and the grounds are beautiful. We stayed in a privilege room so you get added benefits with a a bar on the beach lounge access nicer room (we had are turn suite) separate area for when you use the buffet restaurant. The service wasn't great but that could be because of the size. I wouldn't go back as I found it too big. The spa was little disappointing as it was small so only massages and beauty no sauna or hydrotherapy (we were spoilt from the Mexico hotel)

We stayed at the what is now the Punta Cana Princess (I think the last hotel was wiped out by hurricane), 22 years ago (honeymoon)
Bavaro Beach itself is stunning. Rated as one of the top 5 beaches in the world. |

We've been to the Catalonia Royal Bavaro, not sure its the same hotel you mention?
Its a amazing hotel, we went a few years ago and can't wait to go back.

Getting soooo excited now.. over a year since we’ve been on holiday. DS has been away (Jamaica), DD has been away (maga). It’s our turn soooon 😁😁😁😁
