WDW's 50th is a completely different kettle of fish. It isn't dependant on one lot of fans.

In the grand scheme of things at WDW I doubt it is. The UK market is not as large as people think, the market to Florida as a whole is much bigger though.

I think the one thing we can all be certain on is the annual speculation on the Dibb about whether or not free dining willl be offered and the various arguments for and against. Each year the list of arguments for it not being offered continues to grow. Truth is none of us will know until Disney tells us next April.

Do the 50th birthday celebrations not begin until October 2021 though... I thought this was the case so it may be offered earlier in the year

Its about spend per person...

UK person spends much more than a USA person...

I am not getting into the same debate that happens every year with lots of wrong comments.

Facts are...

British market is important to Disney
Economic factors have got worse so Disney need to continue to push Brits to come

Until those two factors change there is no way free dining is going anywhere. The deal might morph but its going to be offered until something changes.

I’m not trying to be argumentative but year after year you see the end of free dining. Not happened yet.

If you take out the Florida residents with their heavily discounted passes, then the number of UK visitors will seem more significant

Its not that limited though is it? I would guess most dibbers that visit Disney over the summer (May-Sept) have little problem booking a decent room with free dining
