There are plenty of salads to choose from, it's one of the things I like best about dining out in Florida. Also most restaurants offer vegetables with kids meals, particularly broccoli and orange slices. I would however recommend that you also pop to a supermarket when you arrive to stock up on fruit to take into the parks with you as snacks, we always have bananas, apples, nuts in our bags.

I think that using the expression "USA food/restaurants" is misleading.

Florida is at the end of a very long supply chain and does not represent the rest of the country. I've just returned from 2 weeks in Wisconsin and Illinois and vegetables are widely available. As to how they are cooked is another matter.

I think I must be the only person that likes Disney broccoli 😂 I'm hoping it is available as a side. Last time we went I had a childrens meal at the BBQ place in AK and swapped fries for broccoli. Last time I looked at the menu I couldn't see broccoli on there. Huge disappointment. Like really really disappointed. I'm hoping it'll be available when I rock up.

There is plenty to choose from.

That word CHOOSE is the operative one. For instance QS at HS - I chose: Fairfax salad

DH chose chicken tenders and fries - with ketchup
