We’re going in a couple of weeks, so excited! We love Manchester! Although a bit worried about pics I’ve seen of how busy it can be!😬

I would never go to any on a weekend or evening. During the week in the morning we found Manchester great. We are in Preston visiting family this week so might go.

My son lives in Manchester so they go every year.
They buy me some lovely soapy sponges from there for Christmas

We are going on the 18/19th December staying in Manchester the night after visiting the Leeds market on the 18th first. We are in Birmingham for a comic con this weekend so will have a wander round it this weekend.

Totally agree - the crowds are at dangerous level at the weekends. We did it once and got stuck - we literally couldn’t move and we got swept along in a direction we didn’t want to go.. scary. (Albert square)

We tend to just go to the markets in St Anne's Square and King Street and would avoid Albert Square where it is very busy due to lack of space. If you look around in late afternoon the crowds will be fine. Also if you are going in November it won't be as busy as nearer to Christmas. All the different areas in the city are selling exactly the same stuff. You don't really need to go to all of them and St Anne's Square and King Street are the nicer parts of the city, better shops and there seems more space.

Have a good time !
