Those type of places do need to be booked bang on the 180 day mark to guarantee you can dine there.

We went for breakfast, it is not somewhere I would make an effort to go back to, I might consider it if I were staying at the Contemporary only. Totally devoid of atmosphere, twenty five minute wait for breakfast eggs benedict. My review here.

You have to go out of your way for The Wave and with limited time I don't think I could justify the time.

Fair enough. I don't care about Disney classic experiences. I only eat where I want to eat regardless of what other people think.

I'm confused. The OP said she had regrets about not having been to Ohana because she considered it a classic Disney experience . Presumably something in the setting and the organisation seems to her appealing. However she knew the menu wouldn't suit her family. At no point did she indicate or even imply a connection with 'what other people think'.
