I was puzzled by that too. Not too sure TSA would tip off our C&E for something like that also as they're not interested in that sort of thing.
Possibly just a random check

We will be in Orlando for 3 nights for shopping from 1st December!
I totally accept that with the cost of the flights we won't be making any savings but really looking forward to buying for teenage daughters, all the things they love but we don't get at home and enjoying a mini-break minus kids in my favourite place !

Went to Sawgrass Mills last weekend - very expensive but if its for things you can’t get here then fair enough.

I would definitely do this. Obviously the flight and accommodation is going to cost but so much fun to do the shopping over there and there are still loads of bargains to be had these days

When we were there last year we didn’t find much that we couldn’t get for the same price back home, due to a bad exchange rate (and it’s got worse since then)

I have gone the past 8 years solely for Black Friday and done all my Christmas shopping. Even with the poor exchange rate there is still a lot of bargains to be had.

I am not sure about Black Friday, but on our last 4 visits, we have only purchased..
Red Ken hair products. (Every time)
Levi’s (3 times)
Vans (3 times)
A penguin shirt
Disney ‘our Disney vacation’ frame, annual medium photo album, annual Disney year pin. (Every time)

I don’t think that it would be worth it in our case!

We don’t go especially for this but as we are usually there any time between Sept to Nov then we pick stuff up for my son and his girlfriend in Disney ( Star Wars and Stitch) CK, Abercrombie and Hot Topic. I do that for Birthdays and gifts all the year round, especially famous for my present drawer! Can’t remember the last time I bought wrapping paper except in a sale!
