Mobile Where to find a villa?

Another thread about the costs and perks of a villa got me thinking. We never considered one, as a part of three I just assumed it would be too expensive. We are booked for endless summer but have free cancellation, so that wouldn't be a printer.
We are traveling the last two weeks of August next year, albeit leaving on a Tuesday. Would this be an issue? Are villa rentals usually Saturday starts?
I've had a look at dibb villas but where else would you recommend?

Thanks for any advice.

We have left villas on various different days, Monday’s/Thursdays/Fridays etc, they usually just have a minimum booking period. We’ve booked through the dibb, holiday lettings, homeaway and direct with owners. Facebook also have dedicated Orlando villa groups where the owners advertise. There are hundreds of villas out there, so it’s worthwhile making a note of exactalh what you want in terms of bedrooms, area, facilities etc and that makes them easier to find! For instance we always want 3/4 bedrooms, pool
not overlooked by other villas & looking out into a conservation area or lake, games room, WiFi/air con etc, it makes it easier to find if you know what you’re looking for!

Thanks. Most of the dibb villas seem to be booked up already!
I don't have Facebook but I'll have a look at the other places you suggest. Thank you.

In the last few years we’ve either booked a Dibb villa or booked through vr360homes. They key is to do your research, this thread from Magnificent is good place to start. https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1115162

If you put a villa request post here detailing your requirements https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=93 then any owners who have availability will reply or send you a pm.

We've had a "Dibb house-with-pool" once - it was a last-minute trip so managed to get a good deal so the owner didn't have an empty house, but we've otherwise used AirBnB where there is a huge number of houses at what I'd consider decent prices.

With regards to price and being "too expensive" for us it works out considerably cheaper, per night, than staying in a hotel, but the hotels we used are WDW on-site deluxes.

For example on our last trip we had 10 nights at the Beach Club which worked out around £400 per night (although this included dining), and 2 nights at the Animal Kingdom Lodge @ £300 per night.

We then had a four night Dream cruise (nearly £1000 per night!) and then finished up in an AirBnb I booked - airbnb/rooms/23709009. This cost £800 for 5 nights, so a mere £160 per night - far, far cheaper than the hotels we had previously been in. I'll add that it is possible to get a house-with-pool for c£100 a night easily enough - I just really liked the look of that particular house!

Despite the cheapness of staying in a house-with-pool, I'll still pay the inflated price of nice Disney hotels on each and every trip. For us, we can't beat being onsite for when we are visiting WDW parks.

However, when we want some chill-out time, a house is a better option and we'll probably end most holidays in this way now.
