Disney without a ticket - what to do?

When we visit next year, we might not buy any tickets for Disney. However, I know there are things not in the parks that we can still do in Disney without buying tickets.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

As this - we haven't been to a park since 2010 (apart from one day MVMCP in 2014) but every holiday we visit DS two or three times. Catch a WDW bus from there to any of the resorts and do a tour using boats or monorail. Bus to Boardwalk and a boat ride to S&D, Y&BC and HS. Boat ride from DS to either OKW, SSR or POR.

Plus the three mini-golf options.

Great thanks , I've always wanted to do a boat. Is there somewhere that lists all the boat routes?

Found this on the WDW web site. Never seen it before but it doesn't seem very user friendly

disneyworld.disney.go/gu.../#/search=walt disney world water transportation/id=water-transportation/

Chip n Dales campfire singalong

It's good fun, and not only kids

We got the boat over to the campground from Wilderness Lodge and then walked through the grounds to the campfire...

I always think that when people go to orlando and do not do disney, BUT go to DS and a resort or 2 it is like saying " Kids this is what you could have had "

always makes me laugh

Delighted that our choice of holiday gives you so much amusement. Being the wrong side of 70 and having already been over 30 times I believe we're entitled to holiday as we wish.

I am the wrong side of forty - or right side of fifty - and we had a holiday without Disney tickets. My children seemed happy to have a few meals at the resorts and Disney Springs. Loved our holiday.

Delighted to be in the same holiday club as Mick and Joan

At least we are contributing something positive to the OP's question
