happens every time we go, Walmart ,Publix , restaurant car parks. Same stories as above. Always watch your back when getting into your car and a firm NO! usually does it but on a few occasions I've had to use 2 words...

We were there in June and didn't come across any at all, must have been lucky this time!

In 1990 we stayed in a hotel across the road from Disneyland, Anaheim and walked into the park each day. Just in front of the sign a man sat holding a placard "Ex Disney employee will work for a decent wage" 😂😂😂

Have been approached several times and more often than not by females saying they have been abused and can we give them cash for a bus to a relative - offer to give them a lift as you have no cash and they move on. Have never given over any cash as hardened by being accosted frequently in London.

Fortunally that was a few thousand miles from international drive.

I don't think it matters where you stay , it's where you visit. Very few people never leave Disney property ever , especially repeat visitors as there so much else to do and see beyond Disney in Florida

We were there 15th - 30th June and were staying at Rosen Inn International on I-Drive. We went up and down I-Drive morning, noon and night and we only say 1 person during our whole visit.

He was at the traffic lights at the corner of I-Drive and Sand Lake Road (just sat there, not speaking to anyone or asking them for money) and we saw him again sat outside Walgreens on Sand Lake Road a few days later.

Not once did we feel intimidated or were we asked for money.

Maybe we were just lucky. Try not to worry about it and enjoy your holiday.

Of all the 7 years we have been going and staying on I-drive every time we have only been asked once.

To be fair this happened when we ventured off I-drive and walking up to Wallmart but firm no done the job and he politely said ok thanks.

We didn't get asked once whilst staying on international drive, that doesn't mean there weren't people about but they never bothered us. We walked up and down the pointe Orlando bit of international drive each night with a disabled child and felt at ease, my eldest daughter and her boyfriend often went off for meals in evening on their own and felt comfortable too.
Thing I found most bizarre is that guy outside pirate cove on the chewbacca costume... how does he not keel over in the heat 😮
