think i will book this for october - whats the best time to do this?

We did the Spirit of the swamp tour in April and I put a thread on then about it as we thought it was fantastic. We have 4 kids aged 12-6 and they were all a little nervous they may fall in/get eaten etc but they all absolutely loved it and would definitely go again. Captain Harold was brilliant and knew where to look for gators as well as a whole host of other wildlife, birds and plants. They were so good to us as we were half an hour later arriving (allow plenty of time to get there as lots of traffic lights!) anyway they still gave us our full hour which we thought we would lose.
We cannot recommend it enough, I know they were worried as some of the 'larger airboat tours' were taking their business but these guys are excellent, much more personal, great fun and as you can tell I am a huge fan!
So anyone thinking about whether to book it or not I would say YES.
As I said allow plenty of time, we followed the directions with no problem but it was a much longer drive than we had anticipated.

From say US27 for me,where about are you Tracy? I'd like to know that too.I reckon about an hour?

we are staying at windsor hills,just off the 192.

We're staying at the Best Western Lakeside (which is near Marker 5 on the 192) and it took us about an hour to get there leaving at 11am on a Saturday. Traffic was a bit heavy and we hit an average number of red lights. The directions they send you are good but we had our TomTom as well (the nearest town is St Cloud - for some reason we had to put in the town before we could enter the ZIP code or address to get directions).

We're booked with them for 8th September. Can't wait. Debi was so great on the phone. Nice personal touch.
