Booked car hire Aug 2015

Hi all,

I have just booked car hire for my trip to Florida from 29 AUG - 17 SEPT 2015 (19 days). I paid �474 for a Ford Mustang or similar from Alamo Brits...pretty good price I think.

As there is only 2 of us I did phone Hertz in an attempt to book one of the cars from their adrenaline packages, however as I am collecting from MCO and dropping back to Miami...going to the Keys for a few days they would not let me hire one...

Anyway has anyone hired this type of car through Alamo before and if so, when you get to MCO is there any chance of upgrading to a Camaro etc...may like the convertible but just thinking a hardtop Mustang/Camaro would be much better in the Florida heat...AC on rather than roof down!
