Uber Taxis?

Hey guys, does anyone have any experiences using Uber Taxi services, whether in Orlando or any other part of the US?
My brother just got back from a solo trip from disney and mentioned that if we weren't using a car we should definitely give Uber a try, but I don't know too much about it.

Always a little cautious when it comes to new things, what do you think?

I haven't used them but my daughter uses them in Atlanta all the time.

Just used them to go from a hotel on hotel plaza boulevard to premium outlets at Vineland Ave. It saved us a few $$$ and the service was excellent. I think more savings can be made for longer journeys. We also got up to $30 to spend on our first journey for signing up so our first trip was free.
