Thunder Mountain is only closed for a good refurbishment, which is different to being permanently closed.
Only ever used that area as an excuse to get out of the heat. Currently here and can honestly say we walked past the entrance without even a thought of going in. Disney are spending millions on new attractions, all for the good imho
