Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular
Can anyone help on this? Looking at it, I'm a little confused - in current times it seems to conflict with Fantasmic so presumably you'd only be able to see one or the other, and I imagine firework noise from one would intrude on the other as well?
Further, I notice there is no set end date for the show but the show times are absent from dates much beyond the present. Looking at a youtube video apparently there were no times listed for September at the time of its upload in July, so is it just the case that Disney only provide show times shortly prior for this one, in contrast to Fantasmic, or is it likely to be done away with before next year? Our group as a whole are more likely to want to see Fantasmic so that's my main focus, but it would be a shame to miss out on this if it's on next April. |

It does overlap with Fantasmic so if you want to see both you have to go on separate nights. You can vaguely hear the fireworks from Star Wars in the background but it didn't spoil our enjoyment of Fantasmic.
The Star Wars fireworks are amazing - possibly my favourite of all the Disney Firework shows. But then we love Star Wars. |

Hmm, I suspected as much - annoying as when I last visited there were two showings of Fantasmic available, presumably as it was easter Sunday, rather than a couple of weeks prior. 2017 Hollywood Studios isn't wowing me enough at the moment to make a second visit just for the Star Wars show, good though it may be. The only potential contender at present is tagging it onto the back of our visit to AK, but I don't know how easy it is to park hop between those two in the evening.

We love Hollywood studios even with the reduced size we still managed to spend a couple of mornings & evenings there. But we enjoyed all the added Star Wars bits plus I do love the Tower of Terror & will go on that ride all day if I'm allowed. Also love the Prime Time Cafe & Sc-Fi Diner. The Beauty & the Beast show is also good.

I love Tower of Terror, it's one of relatively few rides at any of the Florida parks that seems genuinely intense. Not being able to predict the pattern of how the ride operates also greatly heightens the experience. If queue times permit I am strongly considering doing it multiple times. I also enjoy R&RC but it does feel a bit tame compared to the likes of Hulk. With the loss of LMA and the backlot tour, I'll pretty much be there exclusively for those two rides and the 'new' star tours. If the Star Wars firework show is still on when we go, perhaps I may be able to convince a couple of our group to have a 'star wars evening' there. To my knowledge, none of us are devotees of the franchise but more is more

We made a special trip last night just for the Star Wars fireworks. It was EMH which meant we didn't have to leave with all the other crowds. It was amazing and well worth the visit.
