Another vote for Gringotts. Kong is good but Gringotts really is fab.

Not a Potter fan at all but thought the ride was good (although a lot of it didn't make sense to me). Kong I thought was immense and is one of my Orlando faves so that would be my personal recommendation.

That's a difficult choice as I loved both, however again as a HP fan it would probably be Gringotts first as I definitely wouldn't miss that, particularly because of the queue, I did single rider first time and really felt I missed out.

As good as Kong is, Gringott's is undeniably the superior ride, both from a thematic and intensity point of view. I would say it's largely unimportant to be familiar with Harry Potter to enjoy the ride, though it does of course add to the experience if you are.

IIRC on early opening we speed walked for Gringotts then over to Kong.

It was our second time in Gringotts and it is excellent. Kong was also superb, we had to queue about an hour but it passed relatively quick and it is well themed albeit darkly themed.

Your on a winner either way, but go to say Gringotts first.

Thanks everyone...

Gringotts first it is then.

We don't have express passes, at $351 for the 2 of us, I didn't want to spend anymore for one day, and that's all we have time for.

We've done the parks before so it's all good, we'll make the most of it.

Grinchmas is on the list too..

and I see the new Fast & Furious ride is set to open late 2017? One can hope.

Agree with Gringotts - it is a bit different to the usual screen based rides, although I get frustrated with all the pre show bits (I am not a Potter person so I just want to gewt on with the thrills!) Both are great rides
