Esprit Community - Davenport

Hi all,

I've been searching the forum to see if I can find anyone who has reviewed the Esprit Community in Davenport. Unfortunately, I've not had much joy, except for seeing that someone found a massive snake under the cooker in one of the villa's...I won't be telling Mrs L about this!

So with our holiday coming up soon, I just wondering if anyone has any experience of Esprit at all and give any information that may be useful?

I don't know anything about the actual community but it's not far from Berry Town Centre fir Publix, Applebees and IHOP, crackerbarrel is just along in the opposite direction and more restaurants etc at Champions Gate.

We stayed there a few years ago - Jaybee Avenue, Polo Park, its right by the junction of t he 192 and 27. At the time there was very little nearby and we thought we were at the back of beyond, today there are lots of estates further along the 27 in both directions.

The villa we had backed onto the first tee of the golf course and although I liked it because we could watch my DD and her friend felt a bit on show as it was very close.

The villa was nice, the estate very quiet and there were a few shops at the entrance. Nearby, within a couple of minutes by car was Publix and restauarnts on the 192, now on the 27 this is a a Walmart and numerous shops and restaurants.

PD - I've only recently found out about Berry Town Centre, I'm glad there are such great facilities nearby.

Paw - thanks for the reply. We are also staying along Jaybee, so its good to know that its a nice area. Would you happen to have seen any security around? I know its not gated, I just wondered if there was a security patrol?

We did see security walking the golf course. To be honest we didn't see a soul driving into the estate other than at the shops. We walked to Subway, 2 minutes in the car, felt like 2 hours in the heat, needless to say we were the only idiots going for a walk.
