Every delivery person knows the gate code to all the developments. There's a list pinned up somewhere in most delivery restaurants. Ups, FedEx and the post office all know the codes too. Amazon don't have their own delivery drivers they usually use the post office.

From experience... you need to check the delivery method of the villa you are staying does not have a post box. If it is Fedex or similar they'll leave on the front porch if you're out - if the post office sometimes they won't. The delivery lockers are the best option if you're not sure.

Ours will take parcels being delivered to their office which is sometimes what I do if ordering before i arrive

I know the Op changed their mind but can I just add a word or caution. We ordered something last year and it said it was delivered but never way (we were at the villa that day). It then turned out that the villa owners had their mail directed to a PO box - which obviously we couldn't access so we lost the item in effect.

This is why you should always ask the owner or MC first.

This thread was actually made by guests staying in our villa at the time, hence why I posted the answer which applied to Highlands Reserve and ourselves in particular. Other communities/owners will have different arrangements so best to check first.
