Where to stay in Vancouver before Alaska Cruise?
We have booked the Disney Alaska cruise next September which departs from Vancouver.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a hotel before the cruise?

We stayed here when we did the Alaskan cruise - bluehorizonhotel/
We read someone's (https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...d.php?t=622207) trip report who also stayed here, found it suited us.

We stayed in the Marriott Pinnacle Hotel which is about a 10 min walk to Canada Place were the ship leaves from. We even walked there & back with our luggage We found everywhere very walkable from the hotel.

Somewhere on the Waterfront - we stayed in Fairmont Waterfront. There is also a Delta, and Fairmont Pacific Rim among others. Right beside Canada Place. Hop on Hop off buses leave from there and free bus to Capilano suspension bridge. Some hotels will lend you bikes to ride along the seawall. The taxis have flat rates from the airport - we paid $35 plus tip. The train was too much faff with luggage but Waterfront station is joined underground to The Fairmont.

We stayed at the Pan Pacific which is a fab location albeit a bit pricey. We had a marvellous view over the water and the Disney Wonder docked right under our hotel room

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency, great location for sightseeing in Vancouver and only a short walk to the cruise terminal (or you could get a taxi)

Another one who stayed at the Pan Pacific here.
Beautiful hotel and location but very expensive. |

We've literally just got back. We couldn't justify the pan Pacific so stayed at The Auberge. It was a stones throw away and a lot cheaper. Beautiful hotel and we had a view of the harbour.
