Thanks for the great replies! I'm tempted to do a split stay, I still think it's going to be a hard choice though! Vegas is just fantastic.

I think we were maybe a bit apprehensive about the up scale ness of the hotels! I think seeing such high end shops in the hotels made us think it wasn't for us! But thinking back, Vegas is visited by everyone and anyone and that's what I love about it.

We didn't do too much exploring of other hotels - really only spent one day looking around about 6 of them! So this time we will spend much more time looking around them properly

The Venetian rooms are all suites.

None of the upscale Vegas hotels are intimidating or over formal the way some European hotels can be.

Ive stayed in MGM, Luxor, Circus Circus, Excalibur, Venetian, Mirage, Treasure Island, Palazzo, Wynn, Encore, Golden Nugget, Mandaly Bay and Bellagio and 100% for me would be Bellagio. Im booked to stay there in November with a Lakeview room for my sons 21st birthday treat

The wrap around balcony suites at the Cosmo would be lovely too.

Lots of replies about the Cosmo!

Ive spent all evening looking at trip advisor... wow those views! The rooms are beautiful - LOVE the bath! And I also think the pools look gorgeous.

Not sure if it'll be a little too glitz and glam for DBF though! So I'm thinking of doing 2 or 3 nights at the Cos and then 4 or 5 nights back at the Mirage. Think I will do a trip report this time as I have loved reading through Vegas trip reports! Super helpful
