Any good meds here for aches and pains?
My poor mum has arthritis and a number of other problems that cause her lots of aches and pains. Does anyone recommend any good pain relievers you can buy here? I know they have stronger meds than at home. Thanks

Can't help With that but get her on some good quality probiotics once back. Makes a world of difference.

Aleve is Naproxen Aleve pm also has a mild sedative in it mostly the biggest advantage of buying over the counter med is the quantity you can buy compared to prescription costs at home ( we don't pay in Scotland ) but 500 paracetamol for $2 beats the hassle of 16 at a time here and find cold and flu med great but do make sure anything you buy doesn't interact double up with a different name that she's already prescribed

Walmart (Equate) Naproxen helps my arthritis, but as Helen said, if you want one with a mild sedative then Aleve PM.

we got some time release arthritis painkillers in walgreens (for headaches, lol! If you read the labels they advertise the same combinations under different targeted pain types, I chose this one as it was a stronger dose as it is time release.) We have found it very good in general for quite bad pains.

I can recommend Alleve.
My brother in law swears by an embrocation cream called 'Deep Heating' which he says is much better than Deep Heat here in the UK. I got him some last Nov but couldn't find it in stores so I ordered it from Amazon and had it delivered to the hotel. Edited at 10:24 AM. |
