One hint for linking magic bands, do it on the website not the app. Not sure it was just my app but I found recently linking them on the app didn't work even though it looks like it does. I walked up to our first entry to find I couldn't get in, quickish (about 30mins) trip to guest services and they sorted out the entry with real tickets but it wasn't until I tried with the website instead of the app that I got the bands working.

Sorry to jump in but we are also staying off site.

Can you still buy the old style? I'm not sure I like the new ones, they look too big. Any thoughts?
